We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Sustainability Consultant to join our busy team in Maidenhead.  

What does the role involve?     

In this role you will support the delivery of a wide variety of projects within a multidisciplinary design team for several key clients covering building sustainability from project feasibility through to detailed design and construction support. 

In order to deliver projects you will undertake studies of building environmental design alongside the energy team and engage with wider team members at concept design stage to drive sustainable outcomes.  You will be required to carry out dynamic modelling studies particularly related to façade optimisation for energy efficiency, overheating risk assessments and daylight and sunlight calculations, as well as generating and communicating clear technical reports. 

There will also be some business development and tender activity and you will be expected to participate in and support and drive Sweco's culture of client feedback, communication and improvement. 

To be successful in this role you’ll possess:

  • A degree in Architecture, Building Physics or Building Services Engineering or a closely related discipline. 
  • Experience in a multi-disciplined buildings background. 
  • Dynamic modelling experience: IES VE preferably. 
  • Basic to intermediate skills on CAD packages, preferably AutoCAD and Revit. 

In addition you will possess strong communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas in a simple, visual and comprehensive manner, you will be client focused and able to represent Sweco in discussions with, and in giving presentations to clients , design and contracting teams.   Most of all you will have a drive to succeed in this industry.
