What’s your role in Society?
We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Engineer to join our Civil Engineering Infrastructure team in Ipswich working on projects across a range of civil engineering sectors.   

What does the role involve? 
You will carry out the design of Civil Engineering schemes including roads and drainage design, inspections, surveys, reports, calculations, drawings, contract administration along with job management.

The team undertakes an interesting and wide variety of work including design of adoptable infrastructure and property development for private and commercial clients, pre-planning flood risk and drainage strategies. 

To be successful in this role you’ll possess:
•    An HNC/D or degree in Civil Engineering.
•    Experience working on highways and drainage design.
•    Experience working on residential development design.
•    Experience of using technical software packages such as AutoCAD, MicroDrainage and Civil 3D.
•    Knowledge and understanding of basic hydrology/drainage principles.
•    Excellent numerical and verbal/written communication skills.
