The Anglian Water @one Alliance is a totally collaborative organisation made up of eight partner companies (Anglian Water, SWECO, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, and Skanska) and an extended supply chain, delivering over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.

With a large ramp-up of work in front of us, we have a host of engineering projects which require our Delivery team to provide enthusiasm and innovation to deliver engineering excellence. To support delivering our Nitrates Schemes we’re looking for an Electrical Engineer in our Water Non-Infrastructure team.

What will you be doing as our new Electrical Engineer?

As a talented and driven Electrical Engineer within our diverse and inclusive Engineering team, you’ll provide Electrical Engineering technical input to projects in the Anglian Water region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems
  • Design and specify LV assemblies (MCC, LV, Switchboards and Control Panels)
  • Review LV electrical designs produced by framework contractors (i.e. electrical schematics, cable, calculations and termination diagrams)
  • Specify and select required instrumentation based on process design.

A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours….

You'll have extensive experience in a project engineering environment and will hold a degree (or similar qualification) in a relevant Engineering discipline. With a strong Electrical Engineering background ideally in the Water sector and a keenness to work in a multi disciplined engineering team to work together to solve complex problems.
